The stars over the city

Lord Penh's
Horoscope

Week of 6 – 12 July 2026

The week ahead is a generous one, and the stars are in a rare good mood about it. I've read them all so you can walk into your days already ahead. Find your sign and let it lift you.

♈︎Aries

21 Mar – 19 Apr

You've already picked a fight with someone this week in your head and they haven't even done anything yet. Sit down. The rains are settling in properly now and no amount of scowling drains a flooded street any faster. You want to be first, loudest, and right, so pick one, because you cannot afford all three this week. There's a moto driver on Wednesday who's going to test every last nerve you own, and honestly, he's winning. Save the fire for the dance floor, where nobody's keeping score and the band actually wants you sweaty and stupid.

♉︎Taurus

20 Apr – 20 May

You've been counting your riel like it's the last of the harvest, sitting on plenty, watching friends pick up rounds you could've grabbed twice over. Loosen the grip this week. Some tightness reads as prudence and some just reads as tight, and lately you're sliding toward the second one. A night's coming where you should be the one who says “put it away, I've got this,” and you'll feel it in your chest like a small heroic wound. Do it anyway. Money's just paper that lets you be the good guy now and then, so go spend a little being him.

♊︎Gemini

21 May – 20 Jun

You said yes to four things on the same night and you're going to no-show three of them, and we both know which. Start RSVP-ing with your calendar instead of your mood. Someone's actually counting on you this week, and “I got a better offer” is not the flex you keep mistaking it for. Pick the friend, turn up, and stay past the first drink for once in your life. Your reputation for vanishing precedes you, and precedes you, and precedes you.

♋︎Cancer

21 Jun – 22 Jul

Birthday season's winding down and you're already grieving it like a funeral nobody else was invited to. Put the tissues away, you're fine. You've been marinating in the same mood since roughly last Tuesday and the aircon-cold flat is doing your case no favours at all. Out you go. Riverside, dusk, a drink you didn't pour yourself. Text the one friend who doesn't need you cheerful to enjoy your company. You feel things deeply, which is a gift right up until you start charging yourself rent to live in them.

♌︎Leo

23 Jul – 22 Aug

The hard news, delivered warmly: someone in your circle is quietly coming apart this week and it will not announce itself for you. No stage, no crowd, no chance to be seen being wonderful, just a text you send first and a coffee you pay for without narrating it to anyone. Show up small. It'll cost your pride nothing it can't spare. You spend so much fuel being adored that you forget adoration goes home early when things get dark, and love doesn't. Be the one who stays. Nobody has to clap.

♍︎Virgo

23 Aug – 22 Sep

You've rewritten the same message six times and it was already fine on draft two. Send it. This city doesn't run on your standards, it runs on turning up half-ready and sorting the rest out under a ceiling fan. You caught three things nobody asked you to fix this week, fixed them all, got no thanks, and now you're quietly seething. Less of that. Somewhere between your checklist and your actual life, you keep misplacing the fun, so go find it. It's probably at a bar you'd normally write off as too sticky.

♎︎Libra

23 Sep – 22 Oct

You owe one person an honest, uncomfortable conversation, so naturally you've spent the week being charming to eleven others to dodge it. They can tell, by the way. All that diplomacy is starting to look like cowardice in nice tailoring. Say the true thing this week, gently, but say it, before the resentment you keep insisting you don't feel starts leaking out sideways onto people who did nothing. The peace you're faking is just tension with better manners. Somebody would honestly rather hear the hard version from you than keep collecting your lovely, hollow agreement.

♏︎Scorpio

23 Oct – 21 Nov

You've been quietly managing what everyone thinks about a certain situation, arranging the story, deciding who gets which version, editing in the dark. It's exhausting, you know it's exhausting, and you're doing it anyway. Put the strings down this week. The people worth keeping don't need the director's cut, they can handle the raw footage. Something's shifting whether you choreograph it or not, so stop staging it and let it happen to you for once. Being seen without the edit terrifies you specifically, which is precisely why it's the week's assignment.

♐︎Sagittarius

22 Nov – 21 Dec

You told someone exactly what you thought this week and mistook the wreckage for integrity. Honesty's a fine sword, but you keep swinging it at people who only asked how their set went. Not every true thing needs saying, and definitely not by you, at volume, at the bar, at midnight. Point that bluntness where it earns its keep, at a rubbish plan, at your own tired excuses, and let the poor soul enjoy their night in peace. You'll call it “keeping it real” right up until you're drinking alone, wondering where all the real people wandered off to.

♑︎Capricorn

22 Dec – 19 Jan

You called it a productive weekend. Your friends called it, quite accurately, not seeing you again. The summit you're grinding toward will look exactly like the last one once you reach it: briefly satisfying, then just more mountain. Shut the laptop before the rain even starts this week. Go somewhere with music and precisely zero deliverables. You've convinced yourself rest is something you earn by collapsing first, when it's actually the thing that stops the collapse. Book the night off like a meeting, then keep it like one.

♒︎Aquarius

20 Jan – 18 Feb

You had a brilliant idea at 2am and explained it, at length, to three people who just wanted to finish their beer in peace. The genius is real; the delivery is the whole problem. Nobody converts to your cause over a PA at closing time. Find the one person who lights up at the weird stuff and build something with them, instead of preaching to a room that's trying to leave. The community you keep insisting doesn't exist here is out there this week, doing exactly your brand of strange. Go be strange with them, not at them.

♓︎Pisces

19 Feb – 20 Mar

You've been “about to start” the thing so long it's grown its own mythology. The muse isn't coming, she's stuck in traffic like the rest of us, so start without her. Three deadlines drifted quietly past while you communed with your feelings, and feelings don't file, submit, or ship anything. Do the work half-inspired; the good half is hiding in there somewhere, waiting for you to show up. Ease off the Angkor on Saturday. Your instincts are razor-sharp right now and you keep dissolving them in beer before they get a chance to work.

None of this is binding. The heavens shrug, I gesture toward a good bar, and the week sorts itself out. See you out there.
