House rules (a.k.a. how to get listed without pain)
Lord Penh lists almost anything that’s actually an event. If people can show up at a specific time and something happens on purpose, you’re in the right place.
What we list
- Live stuff: concerts, DJs, comedy, theatre, talks, readings, film screenings.
- Culture & community: exhibitions, gallery openings, workshops, classes, markets, festivals.
- Sport & games: matches, tournaments, quizzes (with a host + start time), screenings of big games.
- Family & special days: kids activities, fairs, public holiday happenings.
What we don’t
- “We are open (again)” posts, happy hours, 2-for-1s, and routine Food & Beverages promos.
- Vibes-only “come hang” gatherings with no program or start time. ("But we're spiritual!")
- Perpetual deals, private/invite-only functions, or “DM for details.” (Lord Penh prefers not to link to Facebook or Messenger contacts)
- Anything where the buzzwords outnumber the details. (Immersive blockchain wellness? Pass.)
What to include (so we can approve it fast)
- Title that says what it is (no ALL CAPS, no AI generated emoji soup, please).
- Date and start time. If it truly runs all day, say “All day”.
- Venue name (link allowed), plus address and Google Maps link.
- Category (music, film, exhibition, sports, kids, etc.).
- Poster/image (square/portrait preferred) and a short description (1–3 lines).
- Ticket/entry info if applicable, and a more info link.
Recurring events
- Weekly events are welcome. Tell Lord Penh the weekday and start time. If it’s truly time-free (e.g. a holiday), Lord Penh will file it as all-day and list it after timed items.
- “Daily forever” is not an event; it’s a lifestyle. Lord Penh doesn’t list lifestyles.
Posters & formatting
- Clear text, readable on a phone. No dense flyers that require a microscope or posters containing ALL the information.
- File links that don’t expire. If your IG story disappears, so does your listing.
Timing & edits
- Submit at least 24 hours ahead. Lord Penh tries to be quick; he is not a robot (yet).
- Changes or cancellations? Email info@lordpenh.com and Lord Penh will fix it.
The fine print (not that fine)
- Listings are editorial. Lord Penh might rewrite them for clarity. Ad banners pay for hosting and beers, not placement.
- Lord Penh (again) reserves the right to edit for clarity, brevity, and sanity.
- Credit where due: if you reuse our listings elsewhere, please cite LordPenh.com, or Lord Penh has to call his retired buddies from Kampot to pay you a visit.
If your event is good and the info is clear, Lord Penh will get it listed. If it’s a happy hour with a paragraph of adjectives, Lord Penh will gently wave from afar.
